  Jo-Anne Coletti's new Feminine Home magazine 'Where the Heart Is" came out recently and my copy arrived just the other day! It is so incredibly beautiful! My Mum and I looked through it together and thought that it was absolutely gorgeous so full of soft, romantic rooms and gardens. Jo-Anne asked me a few months ago if I would like to contribute some borders and flourishes to the magazine and I gleefully went to work. I am so happy that she was able to include some of the designs in her beautiful magazine. Here are some photos of my favorite pages including a few with my drawings in them.    A little while ago I commented on the beautiful Moses Baskets made by Angela at Angela Lace. I mentioned to her how much fun it would be to draw them and decided to try this week! I enjoyed it so much I ended up making three drawings inspired by three of her gorgeous beds. I hope you like them and will go to Angela's site to see more of her lacey creations - I have included photos of the beds I chose to draw which are lovely!

Tiny Treasures

   My family and I returned from our trip last night exhausted from our busy fun! We had a wonderful time - we did some antiquing and exploring, ate some yummy food, and played hard! I brought home some treasures which I'm sure I will share with you just as soon as I can photograph them. Tonight I feel quite lazy and keenly aware that summer is almost finished. It seems to have flown by! I know that I have enjoyed every moment of it. Here are a few photos that I have taken of a new little shelf in my room purchased from a friend's new store Cozy Cottage Interiors. I have filled it with a few of my smallest treasures and I think it looks very sweet. I hope you like it!

    I love the little quote above from Kylie Johnson's book Count Me the Stars. My sister picked it up at a trip to Anthropologie and I read it in an hour. The poetry is so beautiful and interesting. Yesterday was sunny and I spent the afternoon in the garden. I decided to try taking some of the photos that I had made notes about in my little 'blogging ideas' notebook (yes I have a notebook - several notebooks in fact where I record any number of useful and useless things on a regular basis *smile*). I wanted to create some photos that fit with this beautiful piece of poetry and I had a really fun time trying. I hope you like what I came up with...
