New Photo Art Prints!

  I have been working hard on my photos in the last little while and I finally have something new to share with you in my Etsy Shop! I have big plans for the next month or so and this is just a little taste - four new pairs of lovely 5 x 7 photo art prints. Each individual print has it's own name so if anyone wishes to create a different pair from the ones I have listed they can! I have also taken a few photos of my 5 x 7 photo prints that I have framed myself and which are hanging in my home now just to give you some ideas! I hope everyone likes them!

   I haven't drawn any pictures in a little while - it seems like there just hasn't been a lot of time for it! I made the time recently and decided to do a little "doodle" about myself and all of the things that I love! It was so much fun thinking of little things that I could draw about myself. I know I missed things but I smile every time I look at this picture. I hope you like it too and the photos I took to go with it. For the first time ever I am introducing you to my blogging partner - Dot (short for Dorothea Selena Louella Rose). She features in the eleventh picture and boy did I feel clever for figuring out a way to take her picture! Have fun!

Summer Florals

    We've had a couple weeks of very warm weather! The heat and sunshine have really made it feel like summer. Most evenings my family and I have spent lounging about because it was too hot to do anything besides eat icecream and search for a nonexistent breeze wafting through the screen door. Our flowers have been blooming and blooming coaxed out of their timid progression by the long hot days. I have been flying between my house and my Nana's to capture the beautiful blooms before a sudden thunder shower batters them (which always seems to happen shortly after they begin to bud). My Nana's peonies are particularly spectacular this year. I love flowers! I love real flowers and silk flowers, painted flowers, ribbon flowers, embroidered, and sketched. Here are some photos of our garden, flowery things in my house, antique postcards from my Mother's small collection, and other lovely floral things!
