    A very quick post in a few spare moments! I am surrounded by a flurry of activity - only one day left until the wedding and it seems we are all in constant motion! I am excited, nervous, busy, and even a little sad because my baby sister is starting a new life away from me! Of course I am happy too and ready to celebrate and rejoice with her. We all have our wedding finery ready and waiting to be worn on the special day. Here are some photos of the beautiful designer bridal and formal items by Basia Zarzycka for you to peruse and covet. If I were lucky enough to wear a piece from Basia's collection I would definitely feel like a princess!

Wedding Things

   Five days until the wedding - It is very likely that I won't be able to post this week! So much to do in such a short space of time! I don't think anyone realizes how much work a wedding takes until you have to plan one - my family certainly didn't! I know it will be beautiful though. I had an hour this morning so I took some pictures to share with you. Our dining room is absolutely covered with wedding things ready to be taken to the church where my sister's reception will be. Decorations, centerpieces, miles of tulle, ribbons, flowers, crystal - there is barely room to walk! Much of it is packed carefully in boxes, but I managed to take a few pictures of some pretty things, and then I went outside into the sunshine and took some pictures of our garden plants which will be part of our decorations too. I also finally photographed a few pages from the wedding inspiration book I made and have mentioned a few times now. I hope you enjoy the pictures and that there will be many more to share this time next week!

   I happened upon the most beautiful blog the other day. I spent half an hour just perusing through hundreds of serene and elegant pictures all featuring white. The blog is called Maisons Blanches and it is definitely worth a few quiet moments spent scrolling through the seemingly endless pages of beautiful photos. I don't know how it's creator found so many white photos! She also has a wonderful second blog called Colour Your World which is, as the title suggests, brimming with colors! Here is a small sampling of Maisons Blanche - you will definitely want to have a look for yourself though. I have probably just ensured that a great many of you will spend at least a few hours on the computer! Have fun!
