"Our hearts grow tender with
childhood memories and love of
kindred, and we are better throughout
the year for having, in spirit, become
a child again at Christmas-time."
~Laura Ingalls Wilder
I have finally managed to take some pictures of my Christmas tree! We have had so much bad weather lately that there's been almost no light in my house to take pictures. The temperatures have been very, very cold (-35 with the wind chill) and there has been so much snow! I managed it though and here they are! Our tree is all shimmery gold, cream, pale ivory, and pearl. I love it - especially at night time when the ornaments glisten in the candlelight. I love to sit with a cup of peppermint tea and gaze at it. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and that you are enjoying the Christmas season!
I am sharing with:
Your tree is stunningly beautiful as are all your Christmas decorations. The fireplace is so very lovely. Hugs, Beverly

Your Christmas decorating looks just amazing! I love all the pearls on your tree..so pretty. I also love that little tinsel tree on your fireplace...I have been looking for one like that to no avail. I love what you have done--enjoy the holidays!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy!
DeleteThe tinsel tree is one of my favourites - my Mum and I always have our eyes open for them. This one we found a few years ago and I like how feathery it is. Keep searching! They pop up when you least expect them! Thankyou for your lovely words!
