My Studio

"Femininity is not just lipstick,
stylish hairdos, and trendy clothes.
It is the divine adornment of humanity.
It finds expression in your qualities,
in your capacity to love, your spirituality,
delicacy, radiance, sensitivity, creativity,
charm, graciousness, gentleness, dignity,
and quiet strength."
             ~James E. Faust

I recently transformed my former bedroom into my workspace - my family calls it my "Studio". This is where I work on my Etsy Shop and blog, create my artwork and handmade pieces, and generally run this little business that I have come to love! It is a small space but it suits my needs and I have filled it with everything that I love. The focal point I suppose is a large vintage French Provincial cream china cabinet. The bottom drawers and cupboards are filled with supplies and the vintage goodies that you will see in my shop. The glass cabinet portion has some of my own personal treasures revolving around a soft pink theme. I haven't shown my desk here because you've seen it before and really how fascinating is my computer? :) There is also a small chest, my French vanity, an antique upholstered chair, the ornate antique painted table which you will remember from this Post, and a stunning framed piece of artwork by one of my most loved artists Pino. I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into where I create! This space is definitely a source of inspiration for me and a place where I can embrace my femininity and be creative.

  1. Your work 'Studio' is beautiful. I love your china and the way you have displayed it as it looks simple and not over crowded so you can collectively admire the pretty pieces. I hope you enjoy working in there as much as I enjoy your blog and pictures :-)
Now you will just have to show your 'new' bedroom ! Take care Helen a fellow lover of all things feminine, pink and girlie!

A visionary place to focus on treasures for Etsy shop and create your many handmade pretties. Now I wonder what your "new" bedroom looks like. Any furniture left to furnish it with? Hee-Hee.
