I went on a little two day antiquing trip out of town this past weekend! -Always so much fun! Antiquing has always been a favourite pastime for my family. I was always in charge of planning our itinerary when I was growing up -- finding the vintage shops wherever we might be going. I love to see new places and discover treasures. I realized while I was away that I have never taken any pictures to share with you while I was on one of my trips and I thought you might like to see some of the neat places that I went to! These photos were taken with my phone so they are not fabulous but you can definitely get an idea of how many beautiful things I saw. We went to a total of 13 shops - 5 of which were big antique malls. Sadly I can't take home everything that I see and love but I can definitely admire all of the pretties!
This is the view from the second floor of the largest antique mall I went to.
I loved this antique bedroom set! Hey look it's me in the mirror! :)
So much sparkle! I love antique and vintage jewelry. I always go around the shops/malls once to look at the furniture, collectibles, etc. and then again just to look at the jewelry. :)
I had to take a break halfway through and went to one of my favourite French bakeries to get some goodies. We always end up walking out with more than we thought we would. :) This time we opted for rhubarb galettes, tiny raspberry and pistachio vanilla cakes, chocolate croissant, and pink lavender lemonades.
I love the seating in the bakery - mismatched antique furniture! So pretty!
This incredible antique store imports all of their treasures from Europe. They have some truly amazing pieces that look like they have come from Victorian manor houses.
This little beauty might have come home with me;)

Hello, Jenn . . . Wow, what an amazing antique mall. I wish we had something even remotely similar where I live. I'd live in that mall and come for air only when absolutely necessary.
